Upscale images with AI — right in your browser

Enlarge photos up to 4× with on-device AI. ImagElite runs a TensorFlow.js model locally, no files uploaded.

Upscale

Scale

The AI model runs locally — no image ever leaves your browser.

Output format

Upscale images with AI — free & private

Enlarge photos up to 4× with a TensorFlow.js model in your browser. No upload, no signup, no server costs.

The default ESRGAN model is downloaded once and cached by your browser. 4× output is achieved by chaining two 2× passes, the standard approach for browser-side upscaling. WebGL is used when available for faster processing.

All processing happens locally in your browser — your images are never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded?

No — all processing happens locally in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server.

Which image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF.

Is there a file size limit?

No — there are no file size limits and no daily usage limits. The tools are free and unlimited.

Does ImagElite work offline?

Yes — ImagElite is a PWA, so after your first visit the tools also work offline.

Do I need an account?

No — there is no signup and no account required. Just drop your image and go.

How does AI upscaling work?

ImagElite loads a TensorFlow.js ESRGAN model inside your browser. The model is downloaded once and cached for offline use, then runs almost instantly. Image data never leaves your device.

Will upscaling improve a blurry photo?

The model adds plausible detail for portraits, landscapes and product photos, but cannot invent information that wasn't there. Use the highest-quality source file you have.

Why is 4× two passes instead of one?

The widely-used ESRGAN model is trained for 2×. Chaining two 2× passes is the standard approach for browser-side 4× — the result is close to a dedicated 4× model with a smaller, easier-to-cache file.
